Jonah Hill Weight Loss 2019: Health is a really important factor in everyone’s life whether it be physical or mental. Our body is a gift, and we need it to take care of it every day. Gaining weight can be really easy, losing weight however is a tough thing though not impossible but tough.
Jonah Hill, 35-year-old American Actor famous for his movies 21 Jump Street, Superbad, Knocked up and Netflix show Maniac is truly an inspiration to us on that, he had a long struggle with his weight growing up as an overweight kid. On July 2011, he showed up at the 2011 ESPN Awards, having lost a lot of weight.
He did this by counseling with a coach and a nutritionist and changing his eating regimen to mostly eating sushi to acquire more serious roles as an actor.
He got famous in his teens and suffered a lot of his young life being called ugly and fat. This really affected him a lot at that time more than he thought at the time. He later realized how much we suffered because of being treated that badly.
He believes that everyone has some version of themselves, they try to hide from the real world. Everyone suffers from this one way or the other. Even later in life, you may carry that part moving forward in life. For him, it was being an overweight kid trying to fit in with the other kids but ending up feeling lonely and alone.
Jonah took a lot of time to be the person who he currently is, trying to get out of his shell of an overweight kid. He slowly moved on and recovered and really figured out how to represent himself as an artist and a person.

Jonah really just wants to be someone to make his family proud and also lead a long healthy life which needed some major changes in his daily life. He lost a lot of weight and became the person he wanted.
#01 – Exercises and Less Beer
Jonah started going to the gym a lot and started to cut back on beer. He still drinks beer which he really likes so can’ really quit on it but he cut back on it. He said that when he doesn’t drink beer, he gets weirdly thin and when he does he just gets bigger. So, he found a line between and started to cut back on his quantity of beer consumption.
#02 – A Friend’s Help
Jonah called up Channing Tatum and said that he wanted to be in better shape so if he started to eat less and started exercising would that help and Channing Tatum replied, of course, yes, it’s really quite simple. So, with the help of his friend’s words, he started doing exactly that, and he got the results he desired.
#03 – Lots of Sushi
Jonah consulting with his nutritionist found out that the Japanese dish Sushi really helped him out, Sushi can be quite healthy if you don’t get the fried rolls. This helped his diet along a lot, which is why he shared it more. He even found a favorite place for himself during shooting some of the scenes of The Wolf of Wall Street in New York City named – Sushi of Gari.
#04 – Jogging
He started with running a lot which Hill described as easy and a nice way to get into more exercising. He began with running instead of running in his head with all his emotions around, dragging him down. He also initiated with ten pushups per day then drove his way to 100 pushups per day.
#05 – Boxing
He started boxing; his trainer got him into it. He joined a boxing gym and started his workout there. It was his go-to workout to stay in shape. He was shot in pictures going in and out of gyms and doing boxing.
#06 – Nutritionist’s Advice
His nutritionist helped a lot through all his food cravings and replacing them to health food like fruits and vegetables. Also, suggested taking more of lean protein, whole grains, and low-fat dairy products. Hill started jotting down his meals, make notes of each meal for his doctor and sending it to them.
#07 – Will & Faith
Jonah Hill also had the will and determination of losing his weight and getting more healthy and strong. His strong will got him his results and didn’t disappoint. With a strong will anything in this world can be achieved, however tough it may be.
#08 – Dedicating Time
He managed his time for his workouts and meals. He took out time, fixed up a routine and stuck to it. His shooting hours didn’t create hindrances; instead, he worked around it. He decided what he wanted for himself and didn’t let anything get to him.
#09 – Inspiration
When the hate and bad comments he received as an overweight kid and an adult really got to him. He later discovered his pain and did something about it.
He didn’t let the hate and pain get to him too much instead he decided to make himself better and spark up some change in him because he should be the only one charge of his emotions and not let others dictate his life.
He always wanted to live a long healthy life and thought it was high time to start doing something about it. As a result, the 35-year-old actor published a magazine himself mostly focusing on self-love to support someone else, specifical youths like himself, who struggle with their own self-esteem.
He did what he did for himself and only his well-being, he got his encouragement from what he suffered through as a teenager and as an adult, and he took motivation from those experiences and worked on himself.
On the Netflix show, Maniac he looks relatively thin and the work and time he dedicated for himself really displayed itself. Sometimes we have to go through the worst to learn our best lessons.
Just like a phoenix rises from the ashes, when one uses their disparities in life to push them to greatest heights, miracles happen. Life is not happening to us, it’s responding to us.
