GM Diet Plan Review 2020: We have heard of various diets since the breakout of the fitness industry. Some of them work, and some of them are a bit unconventional, but they are meant to do something beneficial.
And apparently, these workouts are not that old and are somewhat new even if they were discovered ten years ago. But the GM Diet was created back in 1985 for the General Motors employee to lose weight.
Anyway, the diet claims to make you lose a good amount of weight as close to 15 pounds which is a great deal but not when you look at in depth.
The entire seven-day diet plan is hysterical.
It was claimed that it was developed under the guidance of FDA and the US Department of Agriculture with extensive testing at the Johns Hopkins Test Centre. However, such claims have been denied by the popular media, and the origin of how the diet plan came into existence is still unknown.
For starters, the diet plan is rigid and way too strict and will test your cravings at its best.
What GM Diet wants from you is to follow a particular pattern of eating which is defined by the food items you consume eventually as mentioned in the diet plan.

What was the result on people who tried the GM Diet?
Undoubtedly, they lost tremendous weight within the first week.
Some lost 10 pounds and some less or higher depending on what they ate and how their bodies reacted.
But how were they feeling after the seven days and how their body reacted after changing the diet is the outcome we all should look for to judge the diet proposed above.
According to various testimonials on different sites, people who went through this dreadful diet plan shared their experience stating that they were feeling weak and unhealthy.
They started gaining weight quickly when they resumed their original and regular diets.
Why is GM diet plan the worst diet plan ever?
I will breakdown in this section as to how this is affecting your body in a totally negative way.
1. The science of Weight Loss
For anybody to lose his weight, the standard procedure that there is to consume a diet in a way so that you have a calorie deficit. But the real question is how much calorie deficit should undertake?
The answer is not by too much in the beginning process. You are supposed to take it further gradually and not rapidly.
This diet asks you to be in a calorie deficit at a vastly rapid level which is dangerous. You have to bring your calories down gradually but not at this pace.
2. Outdated Concept – As rumored, the diet was made back in 1985, and since then there have been groundbreaking researches on fat loss mechanisms.
3. The GM diet promotes weight loss and not fat loss.
4. Muscle loss – You are avoiding protein for the first three days of the diet which will make you lose muscle each day, and that is bad news to a very high extent.
5. Lack of salt – The standard amount of salt required to eat will not be completed in this diet plan. (Additional Tip: White salt is not good for your health but rock salt is)
Health professionals might recommend the GM Diet on a temporary basis, but I wouldn’t recommend that. I suggest you take your fat loss journey through eating healthy. (GM Diet Plan Review)
