In the yoga world, there is one new trend is running which quickly used by everyone including celebrities and now it’s become a world product. Do you want to know its name? Yup! It’s a Yoga wheel.
What is Yoga Wheel?
A circular-shaped prop which used to open the front side body, rolls the spine and assist the advanced postures of Yoga, is known as Yoga wheel. Basically, it is bomb.
It’s hard to imagine why anyone spends $100 on just a wooden wheel which just roll your body. Now here is why list –
- With the help of the Yoga wheel, the entire front side of the body can easily stretch. Body parts like as Hip flexors, chest, abdomen and shoulder.
- It gives massage to your entire spin. The massage is safe and deep too.
- It gives deeper movement for yoga practitioners for deeper posture like heart-opening backends and forearm balances.
How to use the Yoga wheel?
- Massage a spin:
- You should bring a yoga wheel behind which directly connects with the low back and sacrum.
- Your feet should be in a fixed position. You have to just roll your body as back and forth motion with arms only.
- You can roll back until your head meets the ground or until you’ve found a deep enough opening.
- Find an interesting place and hang out there for 3 -5 breaths.
- Once your back has had enough, find a child’s pose to counter the deep backside opening.
- The open front side of the body:
- Repeat the above steps to get into stretch.
- You should stay breathe after finding a comfortable place during rolling.
- The arm should drape down. By shoulders, you have to roll with soften movement and open the front side of the body.
- You can try by taking leg long and give the soften move to hip flexors.
- Now, your belly is completely stretch out. You can think of expansion and extension.
- Hang on for a few minutes.
- Aid in flexibility:
- Find a seat on the ground, extend your legs long in front of you, and place the yoga wheel in front of the feet.
- On an inhale breath, bring arms overhead and find length in the spine.
- On an exhale breath, fold forward and clasp hands around the wheel.
- Use the wheel as a pulley system to help slowly deepen and soften into the pose.
- Remember – hinge from your hips, keep the quads engaged & knee caps slightly lifted, and feet flexed.
- Take a few breaths here and then release.
